Bridgedeck Access System Developed
After a Plant Hire client approached SafeSmart in May 2013, seeking a cost-effective, versatile and easy system to change windscreens on their range of road rollers, we looked inside our broad range to see what could be utilised to provide a solution to their access problem. The product had to be height and width adjustable to suit different makes and models of machine, and simple and quick to use for maintenance staff in yards across the country.
Cantilever Platform Release
In August 2013, SafeSmart released a new range of maintenance platforms, aimed at the machinery maintenance, heavy construction, and industrial maintenance market. The unique feature of these platforms was the large, self-supported 1m cantilever section, allowing users to reach over obstacles and get closer than ever before to their work area without reaching out from the platform.
