Platform features
- Winch-operated extendable guardrails: a hand winch raises and lowers the guardrails, and with them in place, nobody can reach the work area when no truck is in position.
- Cantilevered rails: these give instant fall protection as soon as the trailer parks beneath the platform.
- Extendable support legs: the legs on the cantilevered guardrails adjust to suit different truck heights, so one platform serves more than one vehicle.
- Fully welded ladder cage: workers climb to the platform inside a cage welded as one continuous structure.
- Work at Height Regulations compliance: the platform is designed and built to meet the HSE Work at Height Regulations (WAHR).

Working on top of a tanker trailer is work at height, and the guardrail has to be in place before the worker arrives, not rigged afterwards. This fixed tanker access platform puts permanent edge protection over the trailer so the work area is guarded the moment the truck is parked.
