Significantly configurable, this platform will suit varying train profiles with the slider arrangement along the leading edge of the platform. In addition to suiting varying profiles, the platform is adjustable in height to allow work to be completed across the height of the front of the train. With ladder access that telescopes, allowing access from either the rail pit floor or accessible from the rail level, depending on the location of the train. The sliders utilise a ‘shark tooth’ mechanism that ratchets out and automatically locks where it is left. Each slider can be positioned different from the other. To release the sliders, a single handle is positioned on the handrail of the platform that when lifted allows all the sliders to be slid back to a stowed position simultaneously.
