SafeSmart Access' Hire Service
SafeSmart UK offers a wide range of access equipment for hire as well as sale to keep you safe whilst working at height. For short term projects with bespoke needs, then hire is often the better option.
Delivery is available throughout the UK, with 24-48 hour delivery as standard. For urgent deliveries, please contact us for further details.
When hiring from SafeSmart Access, a minimum period of four weeks applies to all products, and any hires shorter than this period will be charged for the full minimum period.
2025 Year End Closing Dates and Suspension Period
SafeSmart UK hire orders will be suspended and inclusive of Monday 22nd December 2025 to Friday 2nd January 2026.
Should you require differing timescales to this, we would need prior notification before the 18th December 2025.
All off-hires and collections required before the 22nd must be requested by Monday 15th. Any requests after this date cannot be guaranteed unless extra transport charges are agreed.

If a product breaks or is damaged while on hire, please contact us immediately. We will assess the situation and either arrange for an immediate replacement or a repair at our facility, depending on the terms of your hire agreement.
Yes, you can return a hire item before the minimum period ends. However, please be aware that the full minimum hire charge will still apply. No partial refunds are issued for early returns during the agreed-upon minimum hire duration.
If you need to keep the equipment for longer than originally booked, please contact us as soon as possible before the original return date. We will check the availability of the item and, if it is not pre-booked, we will gladly extend the hire period for you. Additional hire charges will apply based on the extended duration.
Yes. All SafeSmart Access solutions are maintained and certified to the highest industry safety standards. Upon hire, we provide all necessary compliance documentation, including engineering certifications, inspection reports, and operational guidelines, to ensure safe setup and use on your site.
